Swedish Bruns Products is my favorite hair care series. The products in this eco-friendly salon-quality series are like those made for me;super high quality and natural cosmetic ingredients, shampoos are sulphate-free, the conditioners are quatia compliant with my requirements, the products have lovely scents and the range also includes the perfect care and styling products for my hair to follow the Curly Girl method. When Bruns came to Finland a couple of years ago, it was a pleasure to finally find a complete range of natural cosmetics hair products that serve all my needs.:)This year, the Bruns product family has expanded with interesting new features. The Växa hair growth stimulator product line ('Joyful Growth' in English, I like to use these Swedish original names) as well as the Blå / Grön (“Blue & Green”) skin care range have been launched.I got the Bruns novelties to try from my longest time partner, the lovely Biodelly.❤️ In honor of the decade-long collaboration, Biodelly is offering a completely insane offer to Candy Day readers like never before:You read that right.Full range -20%, the offer is valid until 31.12.2021.Let's go explore the Bruns delights.:)The new Växa series has been developed to promote hair growth and prevent hair loss. The active ingredient in the series is AKOSKY AZUKI® 1.3% extract made from mung beans and red clover. The extract improves the blood circulation in the scalp and strengthens the hair follicles. It does not revive dead hair follicles, but stimulates dormant hair follicles. The series consists of three products: shampoo, mask and hair lotion.Växa products, especially shampoo and mask, are suitable for everyone, even if you do not suffer from excessive hair loss. For example, I don’t have a hair loss problem, but the shampoo and mask in the series are great for my hair already for its care.:)The Växa series products are available scented and unscented, as are almost all Bruns series products. The Växa number 80 line is scented, the number 81 is unscented. My test products are from the fragrant line.VÄXA SHAMPOO No.80 € 39.90 / 330 ml (with sub-code € 31.92)I have previously used 01 Harmonisk Kokos shampoos from Bruns and 02 Kryddig Jasmin shampoos, both of which have felt equally good and caring - and now no.80 join the same set.All three have the same base of washing and caring ingredients, so it’s no wonder they feel very similar in use.Only the scent is different, and of course the Växa shampoo includes AKOSKY AZUKI® 1.3% extract(In fact, by the way, I’ve also once tested a series of deep cleansing shampoos, and it’s not caring!)Växa shampoo has a DRUELY wonderful citrus scent ..!😍 Still a very aromatic citrus peel scent. After all, the shell has the most intense aroma of essential oil. This fragrance became a favorite of Bruns shampoo fragrances in one fell swoop, I am absolutely in love with this! The Växa shampoo does not wash the hair to a frizzy but leaves it pleasantly pre-clarified, like the sisters mentioned above.Shampoos contain e.g.guyar-quat responsible for jojoba oil and clearing power.Although Bruns shampoos are sulfate-free, they also foam commendably.VÄXA MASK No.80 € 44.90 / 350 ml (with sub-code € 35.92)Quite an insanely good mask! The composition is as dense and creamy as it can be, and the ingredients are at their peak: in addition to the explanatory quaternary technology, the mask contains coconut oil, avocado oil, shea butter, keratin and aloe vera.Of course, the active ingredient in the Växa series is also included to stimulate hair growth, and if you want to benefit from this effect, the mask should be rubbed into the scalp.(I use this as usual for hair lengths.)The composition of the Växa mask is so dense and concentrated that it could almost be called an intensive care concentrate.A much smaller amount of this is enough for my hair than I would normally put a conditioner or mask on.Even a teaspoon clears the hair perfectly and makes it feel well-groomed and silky.I have a Växa mask with me here in Greece too, I put it in a few spoons of a minigrip bag and it is great for three weeks ..!😍Hair serum is not a novelty right now, but it is a new Bruns product for me.:)The oil-based treatment concentrate has a thin and dry oil-like composition. It contains sesame seed oil, rosehip seed oil, argan oil and sunflower seed oil. There are also Franciscans ..!(Which becomes the “sub-name” of the serum, Ljuv Olibanbum, or wonderful olibanum, olibanum is another name for Frankincense.)Bruns Hair Serum is a luxurious oil blend that softens dry scalps and brings shine. To be honest, this is perhaps a bit of an unnecessarily sophisticated oil blend just for the hair, and I see no reason why this shouldn’t even touch my face :) Even the manufacturer’s data talks about the anti-age effect. However, what distinguishes this oil blend from the oil serum presented below is the ester oil present, which makes this product more economical and so-called easier to treat.Anyway - yes I would put this on my face too, of course :) The hair serum has a roll-on applicator and a mild, soft spicy scent.BLÅELIXIR Nr.102 PORVENSALSK DRÖM oil serum € 49.90 / 50 ml (with sub-code € 39.92)Now we have access to new Blå / Grön products that are also suitable for the skin :)Blå products are suitable for normal and dry skin and scalp, Grön products for normal to oily skin and scalp. The Blå / Grön series consists of an oil serum, a moisturizing treatment spray and a clay mask.So all of these can be used on the face as well as on the scalp, as well as mixed with each other.I asked for an oil and spray test from the Blå series. Both turned out great!Blå serum number 102 is scented, and ahh, how wonderful it smells ..!The essential oils of lavender, bergamot and lemongrass form the scent. The aroma is more green citrus than sweet citrus, thanks to the lush lemongrass.Absolutely wonderful and somehow relaxing and energizing at the same time ..!The additional name for the serum, Provensalsk dröm, means a Provencal dream, so the scent is probably meant to take your thoughts to the herb fields in Provence, France…Even the very high-quality and anti-aging oil cocktail contains Argan oil, broccoli seed oil, jojoba oil, safflower oil, rosehip seed oil, squalane and the versatile caring and valuable frankincense oil I recently introduced in the NYR series. All I can say about this is that “Killer oil”.🙏🏻 Everything is right here;a very high quality antioxidant and moisturizing and regenerating oil complex (no esters ..!), a wonderful aromatherapy scent and a very reasonable price - however, the size of the bottle is almost double the normal size of the oil serum / face oil.The odorless 101 version does not contain essential oils.BLÅMIST no.101 moisturizing treatment spray € 30.90 / 200 ml (with sub-code € 24.72)There is only a fragrance-free version of the Blå / Grön line of sprays, but it is good for consumers who are extremely sensitive to odors to know that they do have an odor. The sprays do not contain perfumes or essential oils, but the scent comes from hydrolates, ie floral / vegetable waters.Blåmist nr.101 has straw flower water, lavender water and rosemary water.I guess the lemon balm extract that comes with it has a little smell. The scent on our nose is quite wonderful again, but waiting for a completely odorless product, it is good to know that this is not the case.Although fragrance-free.The scent is milder and fresher than in oil serum.Hydrolates are one of the favorite ingredients of anyone familiar with natural cosmetics, including mine :) Hydrolates are created as a by-product of the distillation of essential oils and have the same therapeutic properties as essential oils, but in a more gentle and already diluted form suitable for the skin.Blåmist is moisturizing, revitalizing, antioxidant, antibacterial, gently shrinking and balancing pores due to its hydrolates. That is, almost such a “do-it-all” spray.:) The straw flower has these magical do-it-all ingredients that are still really gentle, and seeing it (incinimi helichrysum) always delights. The Grönmist spray, which is suitable for oily skin, contains some of the same hydrolates and extracts as Blå, but the number one is witch hazel.Blåmist spray is ideal for pairing with Blåelixir oil;the mist is sprayed on the skin and then the oil is applied while the skin is still slightly moist.I’m still throwing a draw from my two top Bruns favorites to this end, especially since they’re also getting a bargain price now too.:)HÅRSUFFLE Nr.14 Syrlig Mynta (€ 31.90 / 200 ml, code 25.52 €) is a thin and moisturizing gel scented with fresh mint and lemongrass that I use to strengthen curls.A super good product that leaves hair soft and supple while giving curls long-lasting support. The practical pumping mechanism of Bruns gel makes me use this rather than my other favorite, Ekopharman Mint gel sold in a can.(Yes, the jar is cheekily impractical packaging for the gel, in my opinion.)BALSAM SPRAY Nr.18 Sprudlande Tanger (€ 21.50 / 200 ml, with sub-code € 17.20) should leave a moisturizing and softening treatment spray on the hair.It contains a highly qualified cocktail consisting of clarifying amidoamine, coconut oil, shea butter, avocado oil and aloe vera. The spray is just the right treatment and at the same time light, so it doesn't leave your hair close. The composition is almost liquid.I often mix this and Syrlig Mynta gel with the palm of my hand :) 😙Here are the Bruns feelings this time around.:) By the way, it would be nice to hear your Bruns experience too - has anyone already had time to try those products that are suitable for your face? The few Bruns products I have tried have been really good, but the bottles made of thin plastic are causing problems. After a couple of uses, the bottle of conditioner was so rushed that it's hard to get anything out of it.That, by the way, is a valid observation, I too have found the shampoo and treatment bottles to be easily “rushed” and once the intermediate cap of the conditioner bottle bounced out of the force of the crunch and a quarter of the contents of the bottle burst into the palm of my hand….Presumably, however, behind the thinness of the bottles is the saving of plastic (in the same way as in thinned limping bottles….).Are all these Bruns products compatible with the Curly Girl method?Your email address will not be published.Required fields are marked *Notify me of follow-up comments by email.Notify me of new posts by email. Are you interested in cooperating on Terve.fi blogs?Contact us: 050 4144 200 (on duty Mon-Thu 8.00-16.30 and Fri 8.00-16.00) or mediamyynti@a-lehdet.fi
