Raw Smoothie Co was making all-organic açaí bowls before it was cool. The organic green smoothie purveyors have long been a bright spot on North Howard Avenue. Veteran-owned and operated by roomates-turned-business partners James Rue and Gian Birriel, this business offers vibrant indulgences you can feel good about.

Each bowl and smoothie is crafted with only organic ingredients and they’re loaded with a full serving whole greens, whole fruit, and omega-rich seeds. For parents of children less inclined to indulge in veggies, this smoothie shop may be your new favorite spot for a bite to eat.

This local business is one of the eco-friendly pioneers in Tampa. They only use Recycled, Eco-friendly, and Biodegradable packaging, Napkins, and straws.

What should you try when you visit?

Start with a bit of  “Rays Up” blend (because it’s the perfect time to celebrate the surging Tampa Bay squad). The mix features banana, mango, OJ, Blue Majik Algae, baby spinach, baby kale, chard, chia seeds and flax seeds.

Need something even sweeter? Go with the NoHo PB&J bowl. This OG bowl is made with almond milk, honey, strawberry, blueberry, peanut butter blended over  gluten-free granola and topped with fresh cut greens, coconut flakes, cacao nibs, chia & flax seeds and two fruits of your choice!

If you’re looking for a morning kick, the award winning Rise & Grind blend is the go-to,  with banana, Espresso Beans, almond milk, cacao, honey, and peanut butter.  (A 2021 Best Of the Bay Critics Choice award winner!)

Wash your smoothie bowl down with one of their super food infused wellness lattes or grab  a vegan cookie or brownie from the locally-owned and operated vegan bakery We Vegan Eats. You can visit its two locations:
